HOW I FEEL ABOUT POETRY

This is a blog that reflects my way of life through poetry and I want others to see how
I feel through my point of view.
My words express how I feel in my small way in this school and how it comes to me.
I want my voice to be anonymous till my very last post
because I want to get my words out there because people can't really understand my pain.
I will spread it through lyrics and poetry from my favorite poets
and how it can relate to what
I'm going through when I'm in school.
I will share my own poems once in a while but mostly
I will be quoting from
popular artists.
"No bullet can stop us now, we neither beg nor we won't bow
Neither can be bought nor sold
We all defend the right, Jah-Jah children must unite
'Cause life is worth much more than gold"- This is my favorite line from Bob Marley jamming, He is talking about how "no bullet can stop us now" to show that instead of using gun violence to just relax and chill out. The next line he talks about the children must unite, as a way to say that we must come together because of my knowledge of Bob Marley i know that he is talking about world peace for our new generation.

THE ARTIST THAT HAVE INFLUENCED MY LIFE

I will show the artist that influenced my life and how they all took different journeys to get to where they are today and how they are all very different.

Bob Marley came from the heart of Jamaica and he inspires me because he kept going even after people kept saying he wasn't going anywhere with his life because of all the weed he smokes and he still manages to go down in history as the Reggae King of Calypso.


Ruby Rose was called out and discriminated for being a female who has sexual feelings towards another female. She became a very successful actress who got almost half of the females in the United States going crazy over her, and still to this day she gets cast in very popular movies and shows.

Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) grew up as a white-boy who did not fit in the hood of Ohio. So he made himself fit in and started rapping at a young age until he was discovered. Now he is a legend who raps and sings about the struggle he has been through and all the ups and downs in his life. When he had a kid people thought his career was over but his daughter was only the start of good things for him and now he is one of the top 10 best rappers of 2019 billboard awards.

QUOTES FOR MY FAVORITES

In this one imma get my three girls to quote the poems and have them in the pictures that i will be posted on the story picture and have them all talk about their worst relationship from in this school but they aren't allowed to use names for confidentiality purposes but they will tell how it happened and how they felt after and did it affect their lives and how if they want to talk about it. But the purpose of this second post is so that they can express their feel[ing so i can get some emotion and info into this blog.most of the quotes will be from my favorite artist and songwriter Bob Marley and Ruby Rose and finally MGK, their quotes i felt speaks to me the most i believe because we all go through our own ups and downs and everyone has a different story and they all got where they are through very different ways.
